1. What we collect
Nothing. Drone Meditations (both the iOS app and the web app at dronemeditations.com) does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not require an account. We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run analytics.
2. Local storage on your device
The app stores the following data locally on your device only. None of it leaves the device:
- Preset configurations you save (frequencies, FX settings, drift modes, voice settings)
- Journeys you compose
- Cymatic snapshots you choose to save
- Audio recordings you make of your sessions
- Loaded audio samples when you import a file
- UI preferences (volume, layout, last-used preset)
You can delete all of this at any time by deleting the app or clearing the web app's site data.
3. Microphone access (iOS app)
Drone Meditations requests microphone access only when you tap the Listen (tune to room) button. The audio is analyzed entirely on-device to detect the ambient pitch of your space. It is never recorded, saved, or transmitted. As soon as you close the Listen sheet, microphone access stops.
4. Photo library access (iOS app)
Drone Meditations requests permission to add photos only when you tap the camera button to save a cymatic snapshot. The app can only add the image you explicitly chose to save — it cannot read your existing photos.
5. Third parties
None. Drone Meditations does not embed third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics providers, crash reporters, or remote logging. The app is built with first-party Apple frameworks only.
6. Children
Drone Meditations is rated 4+ and does not collect data from anyone, including children. Parents can let children use the app with confidence that no information is gathered.
7. Changes to this policy
If our practices change in the future, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Because we don't have your contact information, we can't notify you directly — please check back if you'd like to know.
